Sketchbook 3 coverage

Richard Bruton has written a piece about Sketchbook 3 over on the FP blog.

Thank you once again Richard, for taking the time to look at my stuff.

Appreciated.

Mount Jud

Mount Jud is a landmark in my hometown, Nuneaton.

Piroutte

Just received the finished pages for Pirouette, my latest collaboration with Douglas Nobel.

It’s a good one. I sent him some scribbly notes and a few images and he worked it up into something worth reading.
This will be added to Sightings of Wallace Sendek, and Built of blood and bricks into a shiny book.

A couple of years ago I was trying to get together an anthology of full strips. The 2-4 page anthologies that were around felt really unsatisfying. The idea of  a collection having 6/20 plus page comics, something chunky to read really appealed. It was going to be called Dark Matter. Like many of my espresso fuelled ideas it collapsed in on itself. So this is a mini version of that idea. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished book.
